Don’t be fooled by this picture, actual hares are not nearly as big as this, and they typically only measure between 16 to 28 inches from head to tail. So, good luck trying to ride one! Hares are known for their long ears, powerful hind legs, and lightning-fast speed and are often associated with agility, endurance, and grace, although they are often confused with rabbits.
One difference between them, however, is that hares have longer ears, larger, more robust bodies, and longer, more muscular hind legs.
