Disappointed, But Not Surprised
Valentine’s Day is often associated with romantic gestures and gifts, but for some, it can lead to dissatisfaction if their expectations are unmet. According to a YouGov survey involving over 33,000 American adults, nearly half of the women (48%) polled revealed that they are disappointed by their significant other’s insufficient effort on Valentine’s Day.
Conversely, only 23% of men reported similar disappointment. The survey also revealed that women aged 35 to 54 (57%) were most likely to express disappointment in their partner’s actions on this day of love.
