The first challenge
Getting to Ben’s location was a challenge in itself. Because the vet didn’t realize it was rush hour, she got stuck in traffic for much longer than she had expected. To have the best chance of Felicia giving birth to her foal, the vet knew she had to get to the horse as quickly as possible.
The more Ben stressed, the more he suggested that one of his friends pick up the vet on a motorcycle. This would allow her to arrive as quickly as possible. She returned to her clinic, where she waited for one of Ben’s closest friends to pick her up.
