For the older folk and anyone who loves the classics, then you might get this one. The Midnight Cowboy film is one of the best productions of 1969, and in what was the best performance of lead actor Dustin Hoffman came the memorable quote in cinematic history.
While other actors will stop filming when there’s some outside interference, Hoffman, who plays Rasto in the movie, and his co-star John Voight didn’t stop when they almost got ran over by a real cab while crossing the street. Instead, the performer came up with a memorable response, exclaiming, “I’m walkin’ here!” That, ladies and gentlemen, is what’s acting is all about.
