“I Am Hearing This, and I Want to Hear This” – The Devil Wears Prada
Not everything we see on screen is well-rehearsed script-driven scenes; some of them are creations of the artist’s observative mind too. The line “I am hearing this, and I want to hear this” by beautiful Emily Blunt from the comedy movie The Devil Wears Prada is one of them.
The dialog is reportedly inspired by a random mom scolding her children in public, compelling Emily to use the same in her shot. Hats off to the director David Frankel who chose to keep the witty line in the movie, giving us a funny string of words to use on our annoying friends.
