The sheer work of filming a perfect movie is unimaginable, although fans may not realize this, seeing that the final product is usually something short of two hours long. One of the classic hits of this period, Casablanca, was filmed in a hurry, and screenwriters did not have ample time to fine-tune the script. Actors were therefore given leeway to ad-lib where necessary, and thankfully, Humphrey Bogart coined the above line that is regarded as one of the production’s best lines ever.
