Stuff That Is Normal In Movies, But Make Absolutely No Sense In Real Life

Graves Are Easy

Horror films can be so unrealistic yet still make us feel scared, particularly when the villain seems to have an unbelievable talent for digging graves.

In horror films like It, the one with the scary clown, graves are so easy to dig that the writers and directors don’t even care about mentioning the digging. Are we supposed to believe that a skinny clown who lives in the sewer has the upper body strength needed to dig these five graves in less than a day? We’ll let it pass, though. Horror films would be a lot less scary if every logistical difficulty were to be taken into account.

A great example of this is the movie series Saw. Can you imagine how different Saw would be if the writers explored the way the traps were built? It would look more like an arts and crafts tutorial than a horror movie.
