Stuff That Is Normal In Movies, But Make Absolutely No Sense In Real Life
Settling For Less is Okay

In the 2007 rom-com Knocked Up, Alison (Katherine Heigl) is a successful and attractive young woman who gets pregnant after a casual meeting with the bonafide loser named Ben (Seth Rogen).
In reality, this would be the story of a drama. But in Hollywood, there seems to be nothing wrong with settling for less. Even though Alison looks like she deserves a lot better, she ends up falling in love with Ben, a grown man who still lives like he was in his first year of college. As it turns out, Ben is a loser with a great heart. But are we supposed to believe Alison will live happily ever after with this kind of guy?
We don’t always get to choose the ones we love, but movies make us feel as though some ridiculous relationships would be possible in the real world. We guess love can be mysterious and unpredictable. Still, you’re pushing way too hard, Hollywood!
