Of course, using the word ambidextrous can be somewhat bland. So, someone decided to use a synonym. This time they chose a word that had nothing to do with what Ullman meant. The word ambidextrous refers to the ability to use both arms. On the other hand, amphibious means the ability to live on land and water. Who knew a merman had played in the MLB?
