Sometimes you don’t need to particularly commit a heinous crime before you get yourself on the wrong side of the law. Your offense can be as ridiculous as a sloppy advertisement. One IKEA outlet in the US decided to save itself from any angry customers with a disclaimer.
The ad already featured a gigantic beef hot dog that would have you salivating any day. But just before someone claims they were expecting a true-to-size hot dog for 50 cents, IKEA lets them know the ad was only for pictorial reference. You’ve got to love the sense of humor of anyone who came up with the idea.
