“I Told You So”
While inside her car, Soary grabbed her jacket (it was a breezy day in town) and started assembling her working equipment. Then, she opened the door, and an ineffably pungent odor assaulted her nostrils. Was it animal-made or human-made? With all of her experience, she couldn’t tell! All she knew was that she felt like throwing up.
Horrified, Soary looked at one of the cops, with a cloth covering his face and a look of “I told you so” in his eyes. The poor wildlife expert grabbed a mask to cover her mouth and tried to focus. After all, she had a job to do.
