We don’t know about you, but this is quite an impressive AI version of modern Pocahontas! The real inspiration behind the character was Irene Bedard, who also voiced the princess in the movie. It took over 50 animators to come up with this physicality!
But Pocahontas’ physique was hardly the only thing that took time to create. The movie itself was done in grueling five years due to animation technique limitations at the time. Plus, the writers were so specific that many scenes had to be rewritten 35 times!
