In some parts of the world, McDonald’s signature sweet treat, McFlurry, comes with this type of spoon. But this isn’t an ordinary plastic utensil because it does more than scoop the cold dessert out of the cup.
A former McDonald’s employee took to TikTok to reveal that this wasn’t meant to be used as a straw, but rather, it makes the workers’ jobs easier. The top of the spoon is to be inserted into the mouth of the machine for mixing the Oreo and the soft serve.
