A great tutor always looks for new ways to motivate their students and helps them do better. An extra cool one comes up with new, innovative ideas as opposed to typical long hours of pep talks.
So what did this lecturer do to encourage kids and assist them in achieving their goals as well? He promised to dress up as Batman for an entire day if the class average went up to 80%. And guess what? It did! The students worked hard to attain the target score— all just to see their teacher playing dress-up at school! The idea is foolproof, but we can’t help but wonder how he would top this reward to maintain the class mean in the finals as well?
We wish all mentors had a sense of humor and strong will to help their pupils perform better, even if they had to go to extremes to do so. The intention is wholesome, and a relaxed group of students performs much better! Here’s to better grades and a fun classroom vibe!
