Avoid Putting My Tongue On Frozen Flagpoles
One of the funniest childhood memories that individuals have is sticking their tongues to a frozen flagpole. Although some may have been scared to do it, others eagerly tried it out to discover whether their tongue adheres to the flagpole.
The process works because the tongue holds warm moisture when in the mouth, but when it comes in contact with the flagpole, the temperature of the moisture decreases drastically. As a result, the saliva freezes solid and the tongue gets stuck.
