When we have the ‘Disney’ Legend, Fred MacMurray, on-board, we barely expect any comprise on the show’s quality. Yet, certain cons do come with the pros of hiring a veteran like him- the major one being his unstable work plans and shooting in bulk.
After each shot, the production manager had to take detailed photos of everywhere around Fred with the other casts frozen in their respective places. Later, when the actor returned from his break, the team filmed the remaining scenes, closely studying the pictures. Of course, everything had to be just the same as before, from hairstyles, clothing to the actors’ positions – Just imagine the hassle for the editing team!
