The character of ‘Bub’ O’Casey on ‘My Three Sons’ was brought to life by American TV actor Willliam Frawley. The star began his career acting on the comedy act ‘Frawley and Louise’ with his ex-wife Edna Louise Broedt back in 1914.
He was also on the show ‘I Love Lucy’ and made two more TV appearances one year before his death in ‘I’ve Got a Secret’ and a cameo appearance on ‘The Lucy Show.’ Thanks to his contribution to the film industry, Frawley received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame a few years before he passed on. It’s satisfying to know that he was honored while still alive.
