At the top of the mountain, Dirk hid behind a rock, now convinced more than ever that he wasn’t alone. From his hiding spot, he stole glances toward where he had seen something approaching with lights. He then observed that what he saw was a car heading in his direction.
The vehicle slowly started getting brighter as it got closer. And it finally came to a halt just about 200 meters in front of the mountain. Then, there are no sudden movements from Dirk now.
