It’s no secret that the world of video game development and technology, in general, is dominated by men. In fact, statistics from the career and job search website Zippia show that only 13% of game developers are women. So, we totally get how the scenario above unfolded.
For some reason, the male developer just couldn’t grapple with the fact that his female colleague knows enough about grappling hooks to program it into the game they were working on. Oh well, hopefully, he went on to realize that women can learn the ropes around traditionally masculine tools, too.
