Girl Power? Mansplaining at work is 40 times more common than you think
That’s Womansplaining For You
One favorable to the existence of mansplaining is that the opposite can also happen. Call it “womansplaining,” if you will, and it’s demonstrated well in this encounter between a customer and a watch advisor. Similar to the other stories we’ve covered, it all began with a man explaining something to a woman who’s more knowledgeable on the topic.
In this case, though, the story ends in the woman getting the chance to show her expertise and shutting down the mansplainer altogether. All that while helping a customer with a problem he created! Revenge is sweet, after all.
