Here’s another case of a boss underestimating his employee despite having excellent qualifications. Despite being hired as a finance assistant with a degree in mathematics to back her up, her manager still didn’t trust her skills, even when it came to simple math.
After asking an easy addition question and getting the correct answer from her, he just had to double-check with a calculator. Although we think he didn’t have nefarious intentions behind his actions, it would have been better if he didn’t bring out his calculator right in front of her.
