Girl Power? Mansplaining at work is 40 times more common than you think

A History Professor’s Worst Nightmare

Imagine this: you’ve spent years, nay, decades of your life studying and publishing history papers. Through hard work, you’ve become expert enough to talk about the history of the suffrage movement at a university. All of that only to be mansplained to by a random guy from the audience.

Sounds like a nightmare, huh? But that’s precisely what happened to this professor during one public lecture about the political aspects of women’s suffrage. We imagine it took a lot of restraint on her part not to let the man get the best of her after hearing his awful take on history.
