When Being “Helpful” BackFires
Working with computers makes many tasks more manageable, but it also has its pitfalls. For example, having one malfunction while you’re serving a mansplainer can get you unsolicited tech tutorials. The joke’s on the customer in this scenario, though.
Perhaps thinking that his helpful gesture would make him get service faster, he decided to sort things out himself… by doing exactly what the employee did. However, his efforts backfired as the computer still failed to work. In the end, all he accomplished was make his wait longer than it should have been.
