As a man of color who grew up in the hood, it was difficult for Lil Nas X to reveal his true self. He only came out to the public at the height of his success in 2019 in a post to celebrate World Pride Day, urging his fans to listen intently to his hit “C7osure.”
The “Old Town Road” rapper then shared a snap of a zoomed in rainbow on a building after his fans seemingly didn’t get what he was hinting about.
