The Palace of Stoves… And Others!

The 2001 thriller “The Others” is a suspenseful movie with a big plot twist at the end. While almost entirely set in one location, the movie was filmed in a combination of three different places, including Oheka Castle in New York City and Penshurst Place in Kent.

The exterior, though, was shot in sunny Spain, in a Cantabrian palace known as the “Palacio de Los Hornillos” (or “Palace of Stoves” in English). Curiously enough, the property is currently used for hosting private events.
