Tina Turner gained fame in 1957 as the lead singer in the band Ike Turner’s Kings of Rhythm. The group was a soul and R&B band famous for songs like A Fool In Love, and Proud Mary during Tina’s time in the group.
She and Ike were married at the time but after their divorce changed everything. She changed her hairstyle and even her music, later being dubbed the Queen of Rock and Roll. Hits like Simply The Best, Private Dancer, and What’s Love Got To Do With It. In 2021 a biographical documentary called Tina was released.
