While it’s not uncommon for pets to have a penchant for stashing away random items, a guileless-looking cat obsessing over one specific thing is a different story. Is it possible this kitty thinks bottle caps will be the new currency post-apocalypse?
Or maybe it’s just a terrible recycler, misunderstanding that bottles, not their caps, need collecting. Regardless, judging by that surprised expression, it seems to realize it might have a teeny weeny hoarding issue. Although hoarding is a strange behavior in cats, it could point to mothering, hunting instincts, and even guarding.
