For an impressive 60 years, Loretta Lynn has entertained us with an endless list of country hits. She’s had several albums certified gold and some of her famous songs, including the track that inspired a biographical film about her – Coal Miner’s Daughter.
Lynn has garnered an equally long list of accolades for her contributions to the country genre. She holds the most awards out of all other female country artists. Sadly, in recent years Lynn has slowed down due to poor health. She broke her hip after a fall back in 2018 after recuperating from a stroke she suffered the year before.
