A 98-Year-Old Veteran Dines At Arby’s Daily And The Reason Will Have You In Tears

Veteran’s Day

Mr. Doug’s story ended up prompting more people to pay attention to an often overlooked day -Veteran’s Day. This holiday is scheduled for November 11 to celebrate military personnel that served the country well. Unfortunately, due to the comparable subject matter, some people mistake it for Memorial Day.

Memorial day also celebrates military personnel, but it is reserved for soldiers who lost their lives in action or were injured during the war. If you head over to Great Britain, this holiday is known as Remembrance day and is celebrated on the Sunday before November 11th. Two minutes of silence are observed to commemorate the occasion.
