Tom Brady Suspended for Deflated Footballs Dispute
After playing for the New England Patriots from 2000 to 2019, Tom Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. Regarded by many as the greatest quarterback of all time, he has won the Super Bowl a whopping seven times.
The NFL accused Brady of being involved in the ‘Deflategate’ controversy. They claimed to have substantial evidence that the quarterback had full knowledge of his teammates deflating footballs. He was also accused of not cooperating with the investigators. Brady was suspended for four games in the 2016 season.
