Barry Switzer’s Dream Ended as His Players were Found Guilty of Misconduct
Barry Switzer served as the head coach for the University of Oklahoma football team, the Sooners for sixteen years. With one of the highest winning percentages in the history of college football, he is a decorated figure.
However, his dream run with the Sooners ended in 1989 when Charles Thompson was arrested for selling banned substances to an undercover FBI agent.
