Gary Moeller Arrested For Disorderly Behavior
Gary Moeller was the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, the football team from the University of Michigan. He enjoyed quite a fair amount of success during his tenure with the Wolverines. However, he quit the team after being involved in a brawl.
Moeller was arrested in 1995 for getting drunk in a Southfield bar and punching a police officer as well as harassing several others. His violent behavior led to his suspension. He was also penalized by the then-president of the University of Michigan, James J. Duderstadt.
