13 Members of the Boston College Team were Suspended for Betting
The Boston College Eagles play in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. Eight members of the team have earned a place in the College Football of Fame. However, 1996 was a bad year for them as thirteen team members were found involved in betting on both collegiate and professional athletic events.
Aside from that, Jamall Anderson, Marcus Bembry, and Brandon King were on the verge of being expelled from the college. They were found to be betting against their team before a game against Syracuse.
