Jerry Richardson Sold Carolina Panthers After Misconduct Allegations

Jerry Richardson played as a flanker for Baltimore Colts from 1959 to 1960 and went on to establish Carolina Panthers as the 29th franchise in the league in 1993.

Richardson stayed as the founder and owner of the outfit until 2017, before he was found guilty of harassing at least four female employees of the Panthers. After the allegation surfaced that put him in a bad light, he was forced to sell his team in 2018. Post a six-month-long investigation, he was asked to pay a fine of $2.7 million.
