Adrian Peterson Suspended for Child Abuse
Widely considered among the greatest running backs in the history of American football, Adrian Peterson has played for different sides in the National Football League. He made it to the Pro Bowl seven times and was chosen among the NFL Most Valuable Players in 2012.
Peterson was charged with child abuse in 2014. He was accused of thrashing his son with a tree branch. Then a Minnesota Vikings player, he was put on paid leave for nine games. After being found guilty, he was suspended for the last six games.
