There’s a good reason why Jerry Seinfeld is sometimes referred to as the ‘King of Comedy.’ His eponymous television series, which aired from 1985 to 1998 on NBC, was based on a semi-fictionalized version of himself. And going by the show’s popularity, Seinfeld is a fascinating character.
